To become a member of Smith County Rescue you need to be 18 years of age or older or have a high school diploma. You need to have a passion for helping others and be willing to obtain training in specialized rescue operations. You need to have the flexibility to be able to respond to emergencies both day & night when people are in need of help.
We meet the first Tuesday night of each month to conduct regular business and review requests for membership. Applications can be dropped off during our regular meeting or given to a member to turn in on your behalf. Our meeting address is at 511 Jefferson Avenue East, Carthage and begins at 7:00 PM.
